Only 25% of all women diagnosed with breast cancer have family members who have had breast cancer! Being born a woman puts all of us at risk. You cannot change your family history, but you can change your awareness and learn how much it affects your personal risk.
Only 6-8 % of all breast cancers diagnosed are related to the BRCA I & II mutation, along with some less frequently heard of genetic mutations.
